Is Email Something Only 'Old People' Do?

If you believe Professor Zeitlyn the answer is yes. More over, the anthropologist - conducting research for TalkTalk - concluded that it will ‘die out’ within 10 years. The research concluded that the younger you are the less likely you’ll use email to communicate, relying instead on social media platforms such as FaceBook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
It’s even more interesting that hardware and software vendors alike are moving in this direction increasingly integrating social media and email into the same ‘inbox’ making it seamless to communicate across different platforms.
It is unlikely email will die out, but as more direct communication moves to social networks, the main thing left on email will be the unsolicited kind... maybe we’ll have to start ‘Facebooking’ this newsletter to you!
